About the Meet

On behalf of Desert Lights Gymnastics and Foothills Gymnastics Association, we are proud to continue to host the 44th Annual Fiesta Bowl Invitational Gymnastics Meet – the longest running Women’s Gymnastics meet in the United States.  We are pleased to host this event at Rawhide in the 50,000 sq. ft. pavilion, which is a state of the art indoor competition venue.

The Fiesta Bowl Invitational Gymnastics Meet has a rich tradition of hosting numerous Elite gymnasts, future NCAA competitors, National champions and future Olympians.

Beginning in 1974, the Fiesta Bowl Invitational was hosted by the Arizona Twisters – Arizona’s Premier Gymnastics Program.  Roe Kreutzer, owner of Arizona Twisters went on to become the USAG Elite Development Director and sold Arizona Twisters to John and Lisa Spini.  Lisa Spini is now the owner of Desert Lights Gymnastics.  As a result, the torch of the Fiesta Bowl Invitational has been passed to Desert Lights, and as we all know, the rest is history!
